Philadelphia Ceiling is a professional installer of VECTA Ceiling System – an ultra-contemporary high-gloss (lacquered) moisture resistant & fire-retardant ceiling membrane.

Ultra-contemporary interiors demand ultra-modern ceiling solutions. Behold: High Gloss (Lacquered) PVC Stretch Ceiling by VECTA Design.
PVC and Textile stretch ceilings are very similar in nature, however, the exclusive and unmatched feature of a PVC stretch ceiling is that it is available in a high-gloss PVC finish. Our clients who dress their contemporary interiors with these stellar ceilings desire for their spaces to be filled with high energy, reflection, and light. While it may be too modern and unconventional for many American homes, the highly reflective lacquered stretch ceiling is a solid choice for showrooms, lobbies, restaurants, entertainment venues, and modern condos.
PVC stretch ceilings are also unique in its ability to create 3D shapes on the ceilings or as architectural elements, even giant light fixtures of futuristic and geometric designs can be constructed with aluminum frames and stretched PVC film around the frame.
One of the most popular uses of PVC stretch ceilings is their applications in swimming pools. The film is naturally hydrophobic and water-resistant, if fact, it can hold water just as a water-filled balloon. With its mold- and chlorine-resistant properties, and the ability to span over the large areas – it is the most preferred choice of ceilings for swimming pools, saunas and spas around the world. Philadelphia Ceiling installers are happy to offer this practical and efficient swimming pool ceiling solution to the property owners in our region.
The innovation in LED lighting integration into the PVC stretch ceiling is superior to any other ceiling system out there. VECTA Design created a line of special aluminum profiles to create remarkable lighting effects. With the VECTA KEY LIGHT system, our ceiling installers are able to build accent lighting into any part of the stretch ceiling. The integrated LED light source is 1.2 inches wide and creates a continuously glowing line of bright illumination in any direction for any distance. VECTA CROWN LIGHT is a unique aluminum profile system, which enables our installers to create a continuous illumination around the perimeter of the room. Using the special aluminum profile with a built-in 1-inch wide flat diffuser, we can create an effect of a stretch ceiling floating on an illuminated perimeter.
This stretch ceiling system also allows for the integration of all sorts of traditional lighting, installation of cameras, smoke detectors, fire alarms, and ventilation grilles.
The Process

Our manufacturing partner in Europe, VECTA Design, produces custom PVC ceilings to fit the exact measurements of your room. Thus, our installation expert has to take precise measurements of the finished interior of the room. We cannot go by the plans or designs, we have to be able to take physical measurements between the walls and corners with finished drywall.
Once we’ve sent VECTA your measurements, it will take about 7-10 days to receive your ceiling materials.
In our unwavering commitment to safety, we are using only the world-famous German-made PVC film, manufactured specifically for stretch ceiling applications. This foil is durable, fire-rated and allergen-fee.
The stretch ceiling manufacturer VECTA welds the sheets of this PVC film together and attaches a “harpoon” system around the perimeter of the piece. After our installers mount the perimeter profile to the walls or ceiling of the room, they will insert this harpoon into the locking channel of the track system. The ceiling membrane is then heated and stretched to be fastened into the profile; when the PVC film cools off, it shrinks and the ceiling surface becomes flat and tight.
VECTA Design stretch system installed by Philadelphia Ceiling is covered by a 10-year Commercial and Residential Warranty.
