I am Elina Doga, the founder, and president of Philadelphia Ceiling. My career in stretch fabric systems began when I started our first installation business, along with my husband, Eugen Doga, in Chisinau, Moldova, back in 2003. For over 13 years we ran several crews, installing over a thousand residential, commercial, and government projects in Eastern Europe. In Europe, we were able to come to work with all possible brands and types of material, gaining unmatched experience. This kind of experience is virtually impossible to come by in the US because until recently, the stretch fabric ceiling industry was not fully established here.
After immigrating to the US and pursuing various paths, we came to realize that nothing was as fulfilling as running our own stretch fabric installation business.
We spent two years carefully reviewing the local and national stretch fabric and ceiling market, and collaborated with various installation companies and manufacturers, looking for the best match and opportunity. Meanwhile, we installed acoustic fabric systems and stretch ceilings in Miami, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, learning the stretch ceiling landscape in the US. After reviewing dozens of manufacturers, brands, products, customer service styles, and marketing strategies, we decided to partner with Awake Graphics and Popcorn Ceiling Solution.
These two brands represent the totality of what our industry can offer, have a deep understanding of the uniqueness of the US market, and have developed a proven strategy for bringing stretch fabric solutions to the North American market.
Today we train new installers in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York, and pass our knowledge to them to make sure the quality and craftsmanship remain of the highest standard.
Our installation teams are skilled in every phase of acoustic fabric system installation, concrete ceiling LED lighting and high-gloss stretch ceiling installation. We combine modern LED lighting and sound-absorbing treatments with our stretch fabric systems and are ready to tackle a project of any complexity or design challenge.
